ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 04-12-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. The petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2019 in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 659 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 370, 290 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 5, 7 and 8 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been taken into custody on pure suspicion and there is nothing to show that petitioner is transgender indulging in such act of prostitution.
