Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 401 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner was apprehended on suspicion from the Ticket Booking Counter of the Railway and some currency was recovered from his possession.

Submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 24.07.2017. Though he has got criminal antecedents as disclosed in paragraph-3 of the bail petition but there is no material in the present case. Considering the period already undergone by the petitioner and nature of allegation, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14110 of 2018 (2) dt.12-03-2018 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bhagalpur G.R. Police Station Case No.146 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
