2 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj PS Case No 258 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A/34, 341, 323, 324, 506 of the IPC.
3 As per the FIR, allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting the informant.
4 Perused the First Information Report and case diary along with injury report. It appears that on the basis of written report of informant Surbhi Kumari, the FIR has been registered under Sections 498A/34, 341, 323, 324, 506 of the IPC. 5 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80018 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 during investigation, the Investigating Officer found the case true under Sections 498A, 341, 323, 324, 506/34 of the IPC. From perusal of the injury report annexed in the case diary, it is apparent that no abnormality has been found in the injury report dated 31.03.2021. The informant is second wife during the life of the first wife. Petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2023. 6 Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail. 7 Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM VI, Patna City in Sultanganj PS Case No 258 of 2020.
