JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-04-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Basopatti P.S.Case No. 114 of 2016 registered under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that petitioner entered into the house of the informant and made an attempt to rape but on alarm raised by her, petitioner was caught at the spot.

It is submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than one and eight months and up till now only one witness has been examined that too also did not turn up for cross-examination. Having considered the period of custody and not turning up the prosecution witnesses, the petitioner, namely, Ramvijay Yadav, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the
