The petitioner is accused in connection with Complaint Case No. C2/8/18 registered under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty, petitioner was searched and 120 bottles each containing 300 ml. Nepali Saufi wine were recovered from his possession. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 04.01.2018.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7408 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional District Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Complaint Case No. C2/08/18. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
