The petitioner, whose application for grant of bail was earlier rejected by this Court in connection with Sessions Trial No.98 of 2015 arising out of Laxmipur P.S. Case No.12 of 2015 registered under Sections 120B, 307, 353 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)(a), 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act, has renewed his prayer for grant of bail on the ground that he is in custody since 17.01.2015 and till date trial has not concluded. Be that as it may, regard being had to the long list of cases pending against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail at this stage. The application is rejected. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7603 of 2018 (2) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 petitioner on day-to-day basis as early as possible preferably within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order failing which the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court below itself. In such circumstance, the court below shall assign reason for undue delay in disposal of trial of the petitioner.
