1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(I) For a direction on the respondents particularly, the respondent Officer-in-Charge, District General Section, Siwan (Resp. no.5) against his office orders dated 27.2.23 and 20.3.23 whereby, the application of petitioner seeking V.R.S. & consequential benefits have been objected stating therein, about the clerical mistake in calculating the retirement date by the petitioner, the petitioner has correctly stated his date of birth as 22.5.63, based upon which his normal retirement date is 31.5.23, as such his V.R.S. requests dated 23.2.23 as well as

Patna High Court CWJC No.27 of 2024(2) dt.15-02-2024 2/2 31.3.23 are much before his normal retirement date as per norms hence, objections made by the authority is fit to be rejected by the Hon'ble Court. (II) For a further direction on the respondents to appoint the son of petitioner namely Golu Kumar as a Chaukidar in his place as provided in the policy decision dated 15.3.14 of the Home Department for which petitioner has further requested on 27.3.23. (III) For a further direction on the respondents to pay the cost against causing physical, mental and financial harassment to the petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Siwan for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the District Magistrate, Siwan, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
