ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 02-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is the husband who has been in custody since 06.11.2017 in connection with Complaint Case No. 2065C/2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that children born out of the marriage are living with him which is causing great difficulty as he is behind the bars. It is submitted that there shall be no recurrence of any such act of torture as has been alleged against the petitioner and shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down by this Court.
