JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 28-03-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 17.01.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 813 of 2017, on merit.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the I.O. has been examined in this case and he has stated that the deceased was not killed rather she committed suicide. It has also been submitted that the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 08.11.2016.
Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Earlier a report was called for from the concerned court below, from which it appears that out of ten witnesses, six has already been examined and the case is pending for examination of other witnesses and has assured that the trial is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12417 of 2018 (3) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 likely to be concluded within a period of six to eight months. As such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
