Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to make correction in the age of the petitioner. In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No.186 of 2019, registered for the offence under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made against the petitioner to have killed the sister of the informant on account of nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. As per the petitioner, the marriage was solemnized at least seven years earlier as the deceased has two sons, who are aged about 8 years and six years respectively. However, the records show that it was an unnatural death and it has also come during the investigation that the petitioner has illicit relationship with another lady.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
