The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chakand P.S. Case No.136 of 2017, a case under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Thirty liters of country-made liquor was allegedly recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2017. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5107 of 2018(2) dt.30-01-2018 2/2 with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner. (Birendra Kumar, J) Mkr./- U T
