JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 10-07-2020 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel appearing for informant through video conferencing. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Ratanpur P.S. Case No. 41/2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 307, 326A, 379 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioners are said to have assaulted the informant and also poured acid on him.

The contention on behalf of the petitioners is that the petitioners and informant are co-villagers and, as a matter of fact, the present case was lodged after much delay on account of previous enmity.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70996 of 2019(4) dt.10-07-2020 2/2 Learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as learned counsel appearing for informant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail Regard being had to the above-stated facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
