1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to SC-10.

2. No one appears on behalf of the T.M. Bhagalpur University.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner retired as Laboratory Incharge/Assistant from T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur on 01.06.2021, it is submitted that petitioner during his service got his GPF deducted at the rate of Rs. 18,468/- from January, 1995 to February, 1998. It is further submitted that after retirement, all the retiral dues of the petitioner has been paid except the

Patna High Court CWJC No.17865 of 2024(2) dt.04-02-2025 2/3 amount of deduction of GPF which was deducted from the salary of the petitioner in between January 1995 to February, 1998. It is further submitted that petitioner has already filed a representation before the Registrar, T.M. Bhagalpur University on 04.03.2024 (Annexure-3), but then till date no action has been taken.

4. The learned State counsel, in absence of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University, submits that the writ application can be disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, T.M. Bhagalpur University to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 04.03.2024, but then submits that from perusal of the representation dated 04.03.2024, it manifests that no receiving is there of the office of the Registrar of the University, as such, it might be a possibility that the representation is not found in the office of the Registrar, thus, submits that petitioner be directed to file a fresh representation before the Registrar, T.M, Bhagalpur University, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner will file a fresh representation before the Registrar, T.M. Bhagalpur University on or before 17.02.2025.

5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties,

Patna High Court CWJC No.17865 of 2024(2) dt.04-02-2025 3/3 the writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file his representation with all the relevant documents with respect to the grievance as raised in the instant writ application before the Registrar of the university on or before 17.02.2025.

6. It is made clear that in the event if any representation is submitted by the petitioner on or before 17.02.2025 in that event the Registrar of the University shall dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter.

7. The writ application is disposed of.
