The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special (Excise) Case No.144 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Submission made on behalf of the petitioner is that recovery of illicit liquor is neither from his possession nor from his house. Recovery is shown from a 'Bhuskar' and he was not apprehended when recovery was made.

Regard being had to the nature of allegation and the defence taken by the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
