2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondent District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to hold an inquiry with regard to the illegalities and irregularities committed by the Public Distribution System Dealer private Respondent and take appropriate action as despite of repeated adverse report against the Licensee for the reason best known the Respondent District Supply Officer and District Magistrate are not taking any action.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16985 of 2023(2) dt.29-01-2024 2/2 (ii) For further direction to the Respondent District Magistrate to hold an inquiry against the District Supply Officer who is sitting tight over the matter in favour of the private Respondent not taking any action and entire beneficiaries of the location are affected due to none supply of the food-grains and other illegalities committed by the private Respondent.

(iii) For further direction to the Respondent authorities to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order within time framed in the light of the report after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

(iv) For further direction to the Respondent authorities to cancel the licence of the private respondent of Public Distribution System Dealer against whom repeatedly reported by the Inquiry Officer that illegality was found despite of that no action has been taken.

(v) And for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the eye of law."

3. On the application of the petitioner, an enquiry has been conducted and no illegality has been found to have been committed by the PDS licensee.

4. In this view of the matter, this application is dismissed with cost of Rs. 100/-.
