2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakai P.S. Case No. 80 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 4, 5 and 6 of the Explosive Substance Act and Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of the U.A.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, explosives were recovered in the jungle.

4. The petitioner's name has come during investigation. He is accused in 29 cases as per the statement made in para-3 of the case diary.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the criminal antecedent of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80666 of 2023(4) dt.05-03-2024 2/2 petitioner and the fact that he is a naxal, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.
