2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jamui P.S. Case No.230 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 341, 323, 337, 338, 308, 354(B), 354, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the mother of the informant with a brick on her head causing head injury to her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He submits that there is case and counter case between the parties and both

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80168 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 sides have sustained injury. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-3 of this application.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is said to have assaulted the mother of the informant and the injury is found grievous in nature.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of case and the fact that the petitioner is the author of grievous injury, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
