1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with S.T. no.136 of 2024 (arising out of Sangrampur (Tetiya Bamber O.P.) P.S. Case no.315 of 2023) registered under sections 307, 341, 323, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the five named accused persons including the petitioner herein are said to have come variously armed and of having assaulted the son of the informant leading to serious injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 18.4.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. no.6845 of 2024. The petitioner

No.79730 of 2024(2) dt.26-11-2024 2/2 has remained in custody for more than one year since 8.11.2023 and as per statement in paragraph no.19 of the petition, charge has been framed against the petitioner in the learned trial Court on 17.5.2024. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year since 8.11.2023 and charge having been framed in the learned trial Court, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with S.T. no.136 of 2024 (arising out of Sangrampur (Tetiya Bamber O.P.) P.S. Case no.315 of 2023) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J. IV, Munger.
