This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Barachatti P.S. Case No.125 of 2024 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 307, 385 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner and others are said to have injured the victim.

Mr. Manish Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the confession of co-accused, one Shivam Kumar has fired upon the victim for a dispute over illegal liquor business.

It is an admitted fact that the victim was shot by the unknown criminals and subsequently, during investigation, the name of the petitioner has transpired.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.
