The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Tajpur (Halai OP) PS Case No. 526 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. 8.640 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck.

It is submitted that no recovery has been made from conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is neither driver nor owner of vehicle in question.

Learned APP however vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got three criminal antecedent of similar nature.
