The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nadi Police Station Case No.72 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The accusation is of recovery of 119 liters of Indian Made Foreign Liquor from the Hondacity Car, which was being driven by the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 17.12.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7840 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Nadi Police Station Case No.72 of 2017. Out of the two sureties, one must be either parents or the close relative of the petitioner.
