The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of a direction to the respondents concerned to grant an Ex-gratia amount to the petitioner as the husband of the petitioner has died due to Motor vehicle accident and in this regard, Bidupur PS case no. 205 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 279, 337, 338, 304A of the Indian Penal Code has registered and the respondent concerned has taken legal option from the assistant government pleader despite that the ex-gratia amount has not been paid to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hazipur for redressal of her aforesaid grievance. Liberty so sought, is granted.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the respondent Sri Tejendra Sinha has appeared for the mother of the deceased and has submitted that she be also granted liberty to approach the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hazipur, considering the fact that the petitioner has already performed second marriage. Accordingly, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the mother of the deceased as well, to approach the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hazipur, for redressal of her grievances.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
