This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Nanpur P.S. Case No.243 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is said to have killed the deceased. The deceased before his death has given the statement to the informant.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that the trial is on the verge of completion. The petitioner is in custody since 26.05.2023.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78814 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail for the present. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
