Learned counsel for the State places on record a copy of the Letter no. 8445 written by the Deputy Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department to the District Magistrate, East Champaran dated 11.12.2023 referring the matter with respect to the issue raised in the instant writ application for inquiry.

2. In view of the contents of aforesaid letter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this application.

3. This application is dismissed as withdrawn.

4. It is clarified that the Court has not gone into the merits of the case of the parties which will be open for consideration in the inquiry conducted. The inquiry shall be taken to its logical conclusion.
