1. Heard the parties through Video Conferencing.

2. The petitioner by way of this writ petition assails the Advertisement issued by the respondents for recruitment for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (T.G.T.) in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has completed his four years integrated course of B.A./B.Ed from the Central University of South Bihar, Gaya in the year 2020 and seeks employment as a T.G.T. However, the Advertisement only allows those candidates who have done

Patna High Court CWJC No.18034 of 2022(2) dt.23-12-2022 2/3 Graduation in a particular subject with B.A. as a separate qualification and the integrated course is not being recognized.

4. On a pointed query raised with regard to the post for which the petitioner seeks employment, learned counsel submits that the petitioner seeks to take employment in T.G.T. (Hindi). A look at the Advertisement shows that for applying for the post of T.G.T. (Hindi), one must have Hindi as a subject in all the three years and the Bachelors degree. The petitioner has not been able to show that he has three years Hindi as a subject while completing his integrated four years degree course of B.A./B.Ed. In absence of the petitioner having the requisite qualification of having done three years course of Hindi, the integrated qualification submitted by the petitioner would not be sufficient to made him eligible for appointment as T.G.T. (Hindi).

5. In absence of above, this Court does not deem it appropriate to entertain the writ petition as minimum qualifications are to be laid down for each post, even in an integrated course such minimum qualification has to be satisfied.

6. In the circumstances, the petitioner cannot be said to be held eligible for the propose of appointment as T.G.T.

7. The writ petition is mis-conceived and is accordingly dismissed.
