1. The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Circle Officer, Pulwaria, District-

Patna High Court CWJC No.1373 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 Gopalganj to dispose off the pending Encroachment Case No.4 of 2018-19.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid encroachment case has not been concluded till date, the same shall definitely be disposed off within a fixed time frame.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Circle Officer, Pulwaria to dispose off the aforesaid Encroachment Case No.4 of 2018-19, in case the same has not already stood disposed off, by passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, after hearing the affected parties and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
