1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application on behalf of above named petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) to the respondents to issue Arms License to the petitioner pursuant his application dated 16.06.2022 as well as considering the continuous threat of life and liberty which the petitioner and his family members are suffering on day to day basis."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.1374 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 seeks a direction upon the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara to dispose off the pending application of the petitioner filed for grant of arms license on 16.06.2022.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case any application has been filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license and is still pending, the same shall definitely be disposed off within a fixed time frame.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate/District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara to dispose off the aforesaid application of the petitioner, in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
