JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-04-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the appellant was rejected by this Court vide order dated 17.5.2017 passed in Cr.Appeal (SJ) No. 993 of 2017 with an observation to conclude the trial within a period of seven months and appellant was given liberty to renew his prayer for bail if trial is not concluded within the said period. Submission of learned counsel for the appellant is that trial has not been concluded as yet and appellant is in custody since 25.10.2016.

Heard learned Special P.P. for the State and perused the report from which it appears that five witnesses have already been examined and further six months time is sought to conclude the trial.

In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail

Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.504 of 2018 (3) dt.04-04-2018 2/2 to the appellant. Prayer for bail of the appellant is again rejected. However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a further period of four months. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) spal/- U
