Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No.385 of 2017, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 325, 307 and 326 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the petitioner gave a garasa blow causing injury to the left forearm of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is the father-in-law of the petitioner's sister, there is case and counter case and prior to that the sister of the petitioner had instituted a case under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code against her husband, moreover there is only one injury and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12151 of 2018(3) dt.16-04-2018 2/2 that is not on vital part of the body.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Md. Sahjahan is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Bhagalpur in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No.385 of 2017.
