SONI SHRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 22-07-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 85 of the B.N.S. and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. The matter had been referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for amicable of disputes and it would appear from the memorandum of agreement dated 04.07.2025 that the issues have been resolved between the parties in Mediation Proceeding No. 411 of 2025.
4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner and admitted by the counsel for the opposite party no. 2 that out of a total settlement of amount of Rs. 8,50,000/-,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78345 of 2024(5) dt.22-07-2025 2/2 an amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- has already been paid as first installment and the rest would be paid as per the schedule agreed between the parties.
5. In such view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 219 of 2024, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C./482(2) of the B.N.S.S. (Soni Shrivastava, J) devendra/- U T
