The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 8248 of 2019 arising out of Khagaul P.S. Case No. 229 of 2019, registered for offence punishable under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner or his house. Further submission is that the petitioner has been made accused in the instant case merely on suspicion. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Patna, in connection with Khagaul P.S. Case No. 229 of 2019.
