Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No.247 of 2017, registered under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation in brief is that the informant received a message asking for extortion of Rs.1,00,000/- on his mobile from unknown mobile number 7993776592.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the evidence is that one Ravindu Sahni sent the said message and not the petitioner, moreover except the confessional statement of the petitioner, there is no other material against him and the petitioner has had no criminal antecedent but after institution of this case, he was remanded in another case.
