The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 66 of 2012 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant is the brother of deceased, who, in his written complaint on 19.03.2012 has stated that his sister was married to petitioner in the year 2007 and after sometime her in-laws started torturing her for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and on 17.03.2012 they killed her by poison and thereafter concealed her body. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6305 of 2018(4) dt.05-03-2018 2/2 implicated in this case and she died due to diarrhea and she was cremated in presence of villagers and allegation against all are of general and omnibus. No specific overt act has been alleged against the petitioner. It has been further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 24.05.2017 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Muzaffarpur, in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 66 of 2012.
