Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is elder brother of the husband of the victim of dowry death. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner also of demand and torture. Submission is that some other co-accused, who is one of the family members, has already been allowed anticipatory bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 02.12.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 51279 of 2016. Considering the substance in the aforesaid

No.17139 of 2018 (2) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kumarkhand Police Station Case No. 135 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
