JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 04-03-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through the virtual Court proceedings. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b), 22 and 23 of the NDPS Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is in custody since 19.08.2022.
The informant alleges that 6 Kg. Ganja was recovered from the petitioner and 10 Kg. Ganja was recovered from Golu Kumar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that even assuming what has been alleged is

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
Considering the submission, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 192 of 2022, subject to the condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his mother Kiran Devi. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Kundan/- U T
