====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-01-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with S.T. No. 295 of 2025 arising out of Rajpur P. S. Case No. 170 of 2025 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. As per prosecution case, all the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, killed the daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he is husband of the deceased. Petitioner never demanded any dowry nor harassed the deceased. As a matter of fact, deceased herself committed suicide. Petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74585 of 2025(3) dt.09-01-2026 2/2 claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 19.05.2025. Charge has already been framed on 4.11.2025.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the nature of accusation, period of custody and the fact that charge has been framed against the petitioner, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District & Additional Sessions Judge VIII, Buxar in connection with S.T. No. 295 of 2025 arising out of Rajpur P. S. Case No. 170 of 2025.
