Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No.220 of 2017, registered under Sections 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that it is a case of elopement, the girl is also major as per Annexure-3, the copy of the Adhar Card, which shows the date of the birth of girl 23.02.1998 and the girl has admitted that she married with the petitioner in a temple and voluntarily eloped with him and that is also reflected in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.

Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Ranjeet Mandal @ Ranjeet Kumar is directed to be

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17354 of 2018(2) dt.27-03-2018 2/2 released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Udakishunganj, District Madhepura in connection with Udakishunganj P.S. Case No.220 of 2017.
