JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 15-02-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Spl.P.P. for the Vigilance and learned APP for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has resigned from his job and thus submits that he will suffer, in the event, if he is sent to jail. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5598 of 2023(3) dt.15-02-2023 2/3 granted the privilege of anticipatory bail by different learned Co-ordinate Benches including this Bench. It is next submitted that when this matter was taken up earlier on 05.09.2022 perhaps this fact was not brought to the notice of the Court. It is also submitted that petitioner will not abscond and will co-operate in the investigation. Learned Spl.P.P. for the Vigliance opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.

10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Sono (Charkapathar) P.S. Case No. 159 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5598 of 2023(3) dt.15-02-2023 3/3 forthwith cancel his bail bonds after recording reasons and shall take all coercive steps to ensure that petitioner is behind bars.
