This is a petition for grant of regular bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 102 of 2017 for offences under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation, in brief, is that the informant learnt that his uncle was killed by Sanjay Pandey as he did not want to give the remaining consideration amount to the deceased as he had sold his land to the petitioner, who admitted before the villagers that he killed the deceased in association with the petitioner. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except the confessional statement made by another coaccused, Sanjay Pandey, there is no other material against the petitioner and he had no motive to kill the deceased and only one head injury was found on his person and the petitioner has
