The petitioner is in custody since 24.08.2019 in connection with Special Case No. 7586 of 2019 arising out of Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 558 of 2019 for the offence registered under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries were not from his conscious possession and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
