The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 307, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. Six named accused persons including the petitioner are said to have assaulted the grand father-in-law of the informant and when the husband and father-in-law of the informant rushed in his rescue, co-accused Prakash Kumar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72899 of 2019(2) dt.18-12-2019 2/3 assaulted her husband and father-in-law by means of lathi inflicting injury to them and petitioner snatched mangalsutra of the informant and mobile of the husband of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has no concern with the aforesaid occurrence. As a matter of fact husband of the petitioner has lodged Khaira P.S. Case No.174 of 2019 against the informant preceding to the case under hand and in order to save the skin from the aforesaid case, informant has lodged this false and frivolous case against the petitioner and others. Allegation of snatching mangalsutra of informant and mobile of his husband is super addition. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner happens to be a lady.

Learned APP for the State opposed the bail petition.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Pramod Ranjan, J.M.1st Class, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No.
