Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 387/389 of the Indian Penal Code.

Two persons came alongwith a letter said to be written by the petitioner and demanded ransom from the informant.

Submission is that the petitioner has stated on oath that the writing of the petitioner was compared with writing produced by those persons and the same did not tally. In fact the writing is not of the petitioner. The investigation is already complete now.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10694 of 2018 (2) dt.23-02-2018 bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Town Police Station Case No.94 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
