Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of the victim of dowry death. Husband is already in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 27.12.2017. Investigation of the case is already complete. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same.

Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation as well as the fact that the petitioner is a widow, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties

No.10442 of 2018 (3) dt.04-04-2018 2/2 of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Barachatti Police Station Case No. 559 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
