2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 111 of 2024 arising out of Buxar Town P.S. Case No. 682 of 2023, lodged on 18.12.2023, under Sections 302/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 24.04.2024, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 13996 of 2024, with liberty to renew his prayer for bail six months after the framing of charge. Counsel further submits that the charge in this case was framed on 16.04.2024.

4. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78368 of 2024(3) dt.05-02-2025 2/2 for bail and submits that a report has been called for. From the report, it transpires that bailable warrant has been issued to seven witnesses, out of which one witness has been examined

5. In this background, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.

6. The Superintendent of Police, Buxar, is hereby directed to ensure the production of prosecution witnesses in connection with Sessions Trial No. 111 of 2024 arising out of Buxar Town P.S. Case No. 682 of 2023 within six months for examination so that, speedy trial may be made.

7. The Registry is directed to transmit a copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police, Buxar, through fax, e-mail or any other mode forthwith and Learned Additional Public Prosecutor is also directed to communicate this order at his level in this regard.
