2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 557C of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act later on cognizance has been taken under Section 498A/34 of Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per allegation, it is a case of matrimonial dispute. The complainant is wife of the petitioner. She made allegation that her marriage was solemnized with the petitioner on 27.06.2020. After
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.78974 of 2023(3) dt.27-02-2024 2/2 marriage, when she went to her matrimonial house, the accused persons started demanding different articles as dowry.
4. The notice was issued to the complainant and service report of registered post is still awaited.
5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both the parties have compromised the case and one time settlement has been arrived at between the parties. The certified copy of compromise petition has been produced by the learned counsel at the time of hearing, which is kept on the record.
6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Complaint Case No. 557C of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
