The petitioner is in custody in connection with Charpokhari P.S. Case No. 76 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 302, 120(B), 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

From perusal of the materials available on the record, it is evident that in a planned way, the deceased was done to death as he was one of the witnesses in murder case. Considering the aforesaid, the Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer is rejected. However, the District and Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara, is directed to take steps for conclusion of the trial of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70014 of 2019(5) dt.25-06-2020 2/2 case by the Fast Track Court within a period of one year. In the event, the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
