Petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Khushrupur P.S. Case No.168 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable u/s 363/366(a) of Indian Penal Code. 3.

Allegedly, FIR named co-accused persons have kidnapped the minor daughter of the informant and later she was recovered from the house of co-accused Anand Kumar. 4.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence. She has been falsely implicated in this case. She is not named in the FIR. The victim has stated in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C. that she is aged about 18 years and solemnized marriage with co-accused Anand Kumar. Her name transpired because she is the mother of the co-accused Anand

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80094 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 Kumar. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. 5.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the case is of the year 2015 but application for anticipatory bail was filed in 2024.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the nature of allegation and delay in filing the anticipatory bail application, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on her behalf is hereby rejected.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
