The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bathnaha P.S. Case No. 157 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 413, 414, 468 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a),(b),(c) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries were made from three vehicles and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is submitted that the name of the petitioner transpired in the confessional statement made before the police by one Rahul Kumar and Shatrughan Mahto who was taken into custody on suspicion. It

Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge II cum Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Bathnaha P.S.
