The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No. 112 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition Liquor and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding the recovery of 34.2 liters of illicit liquor from the motorcycle.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any recovery has been affected from the conscious possession of the petitioner nor the said motorcycle belongs to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 31.03.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30822 of 2018 (2) dt.23-05-2018 2/2 petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-cum-Special Judge, Buxar in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No. 112 of 2018.
