Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bakhari P.S. Case No.327 of 2017 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation in brief is that the informant's daughter married with the son of the petitioner was killed by throttling within three years of the marriage for non-fulfillment of demand of further dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law, he was present in the house but did not escape away, the petitioner is in custody since 30.12.2017 and the husband is also in custody.

No.29622 of 2018(4) dt.17-07-2018 2/2 Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the fact that the specific accusation is against the husband and the petitioner is father-in-law so, petitioner Lukhan Paswan @ Ram Lakhan Paswan is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Begusarai in connection with Bakhari P.S. Case No.327 of 2017.
